A Little More About Us...
The Women's Resource and Outreach Centre Limited (WROC) was established as a non-profit organization on International Women's Day, March 8, 1983. The organization was founded by the Committee of Women for Progress, the body which was at the forefront of the struggle for paid Maternity Leave which was won in 1979.

Since its inception, WROC has offered a variety of outreach programmes aimed at creating social and economic development in both urban and rural communities. Over the years, these programmes have focused on human rights, gender equality and justice, health and wellness, sustainable livelihoods, environmental management, community capacity building, advocacy, research and communications, and organizational development.
